No. It's a condition report at a given moment: not a warranty of future working order, not a warranty against hidden defects, not an expert appraisal in the legal sense.

Some checks aren't possible remotely, depending on the item's category. A report that declared them passing without having seen them would be worthless: listing them explicitly, with their reason, is more honest than a report that claims to check everything.

An average would hide exactly which points are a problem. Every point of the protocol reads individually (pass, flag, or not checked), never summarized as a number.

No, never. Not even by us. A sealed report is immutable. Any correction creates a new report linked to the previous one, never an in-place change.

Yes. The protocol evolves through successive versions, never modified once published. Every report records the version used at the time of the session, so it stays reproducible identically, years later.

An expert calls you over video at the agreed time, verifies your identity, then guides you step by step: nameplate, a full walk-around of the item in a single continuous shot, powering it on, and the checks specific to the category. Full detail on How it works.

45 minutes. A shortened session gives an incomplete report, so it isn't shortened.

You do exactly what's asked, in the order asked. An owner who takes over the framing would undermine the session's evidentiary value: the expert directs so the report stays admissible.

Yes, and never before. The expert films a cold start, which reveals more than an item that's already warmed up and running.

The serial number is cross-checked against the databases available for the category, listing photos are checked with reverse image search, and several signals are watched during the session: the camera cutting out at a requested moment, refusing the full walk-around, an altered serial number, surroundings that look like a warehouse rather than a private home.

The seller, to strengthen their listing before even having a buyer; or the buyer, on a listing they're interested in but can't check themselves. In that second case, we contact the seller to arrange the session.

No degree required: real practice in the category is enough. A first session is reviewed before an expert can run one alone, the same check that protects the quality of every report afterward.

They keep the majority of the fee paid for the session: never a percentage of the item's sale price, never tied to what they find. A report covered in flags pays the same as a fully passing one.
